Dr. Md. Rifat Zia Hossain was born on January 21, 1975, in Doctor Para village of Feni district. His father, Dr. Delwar Hossain, was a physician at Feni Sadar Hospital. He began his early education at Primary Training School in Lakshmipur and later continued at Feni Pilot School, where he completed his SSC in 1990. He passed his HSC from Feni Government College in 1992.

He earned his MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 2000. After graduation, he worked at Uttara Central Hospital for two years. In 2003, he joined Bangladesh Medical University (BSMMU), where he completed his MD in Oncology in 2019.

Currently, Dr. Rifat Zia Hossain serves as an Assistant Professor at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) and works as a Consultant at Insaf Barakah Kidney & General Hospital and Delta Medical College Hospital. He is dedicated to providing advanced and compassionate cancer care to his patients.
